I am researching my grandfather Joseph Yetman who was born to Andrew Yetman and Mary Snow in 1907. I understand from my mother that my grandfather's father was previously married and that his first wife died. She recalls from the 1st marriage there was a Michael who died in WW1, a Andrew and a James..there were others but she cannot recall their names. I am wondering if anyone has any information on Andrews 1st wife and their children. I understand my grandfather's father was born in Hr.Grace in 1845 and that they were RC

Hi Jim,
I am the granddaughter of the late Mary Catherine Collins {nee Yetman] . She was the daughter of Henry Yetman and Mary Drover Yetman from Bryant's Cove.Henry was known as Irish Harry.
Maybe we are related.
I really enjoyed your web-site. My late father ,Jerry Collins , had great memories of visiting Bryant's Cove when he was growing up in Hr. Grace. He talked about
Feather Point. He would have really enjoyed your pictures.
