Gonzaga High School is an educational establishment located in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. The school began as a Jesuit sponsored all-boys school from grades 9 to 11. It is now a non-denominational coeducational institute for students from grade 10 (level 1) to grade 12 (level 3).
Gonzaga's alumni include Darrell Power, Teddy Purcell, Danny Williams and Greg Thomey. Five graduates of the school were killed in the Ocean Ranger disaster of 1982. Its sports teams are known as the Vikings.
In 2010 The Telegram named Gonzaga High School the second best high school in Newfoundland and Labrador, and the best in St. John's. [2]From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
